Ya doin okay?

I had a filling and a crown scheduled at the dentist last week. The crown kept falling off and having to be re-done and the filling ended up being a root canal. The dentist had a hard time getting to the nerve because it had shrunk down. I was in the chair for over 3 hours- I still feel like I was hit in the side of the head by a baseball bat. And just as the dentist was about to finish, he says,
"ya doin okay?"
SERIOUSLY??!!??
