birthday pictures...

Bradley had a great birthday. He was amazed that he really had a blue pickup cake. We all went out to dinner- In the picture of everyone it is Ryan's mom and two brothers on the left, and my mom on the right with my little sister and her little girl Annie on the end. My Dad is taking a picture from the other direction. We had a good time and are happy to have family around during fun times.

Happy Birthday Bradley!!

He has been terrible for awhile now, but today he is officially two!
Bradley Garth Willard was born on February 28, 2006 in Sanford Florida at 12:01 AM. He weighed 10 lbs 3 oz and was 21 inches long. Bradley was such a big baby and came home from the hospital in 3-6 month size clothes.
Bradley is very stubborn and usually uses his size to get his way. He is very loving and likes to cuddle, but if anyone ever tells him no, he has been known to kick, hit, scream, bite and, his favorite, pinch.
Bradley loves pickups. It was one of his first words, and he points them out all the time on the road. He hauls around pickups in both hands most of the time. I bought a really cute tractor pan to make him a John Deere cake and he has told everyone that he is having a blue pickup cake for his birthday. So here I am today making a blue pickup cake... *sigh*
Birthday pictures will be posted later tonight...

Happy Pretend Birthday Ryan!

Ryan had to fly on his birthday, so we had a "pretend birthday" the day before. He was spoiled with breakfast in bed, lots of presents and going out to dinner that night... Bradley walked around all day singing "happy birthday to Daddy..." over and over. It was a great day!

And I thought sending him to kindergarten was hard...

So Josh did his valentines for school with me yesterday, and I have come to the realization that my little boy is not little anymore. He saved the "kiss" valentine for his Jessica because "he likes her and she likes him". Wait, a minute, WHAT??? When did girls lose their cooties?? I must have missed that memo. It is fun to see them grow and change, but this is a hard one! Around Christmas time, there were some girls chasing Josh at the church. When we asked why they were chasing him, they said, "because he is so hot." **SIGH**

Gold-star Mommy

Happy Valentine's Day! Today I am pulling out all of the super-mommy stops and trying to make it a great day for the boys. Ryan is going to be home late tonight from four-day trip.
We got up this morning and had red heart-shaped pancakes. Josh told me that red is "much more hearty then pink", so we got them as red as possible. This afternoon, I made the most YUM-O cupcakes EVER! They are from Martha Stuart online (search for "Sprinkles strawberry cupcakes"). They have real fruit in the cupcakes AND the frosting. Even being the frosting-hater that I am, they are divine!! We are going to have heart shaped take and bake pizzas for dinner and I have some cute little valentines for the boys. Should be a great day!!

Snow days

The boys have started going out sledding every day. Playing in the snow is where I become the official Bad Mommy. I knew they would love it, but I kept putting off actually taking them outside. I have been dreading going out with them. I HATE being cold- and it is so much work to get them all dressed up- and it is so wet and nasty when they come back into the house! Ryan has been home most of the last week and took them out every single day to sled. He is such a good Daddy. Now he is gone on a trip and I am attempting to avoid them asking about going out.... Is this bad??
Tell me again why I moved away from the beach...

Intro...

Well, here's a quick intro. For those of you who don't know us, I am not quite sure why you would be reading this blog anyway- we really are pretty boring...
For those of you who do know us, here is a quick update.
Ryan just finished his first year with SkyWest. He is loving flying and happy to finally be doing what he has been training to do for so many years.
As for me, I think that "flight delayed" fits me perfectly. No matter how much I seem to try I always tend to be a day late and a dollar short...
The boys are doing great. They are happy and healthy and keep me on my toes at all times.
