Finally!

Okay, so Ryan and I have been looking for a reasonably priced house in Utah for about five months now. We have been from Tremonton to Provo and everywhere in-between. We have had so much frustration because we wanted to find the perfect place to have our family.
So now, we are pleased to announce that we have found a house!! Actually we are building a house. It is in Eagle Mountain Utah, and it will be done in about 5-6 months. We picked out a lot on Saturday, and are excitedly getting ready to pick out options and get going with the process. It is about an hours drive to the airport, but Ryan was happy with that. He will only make the trip a couple of times a week, so it will be fine. It is also only about 15 minutes from his brother's house, so we will have family close.
This is so exciting!!

May Day!

So happy May 1st to all of you out there... Any big plans?
For us, we thought we would maybe plant some flowers, till the garden or have a picnic.
Or we could scrape the snow from the sidewalks, build a snowman, and sip hot chocolate!
WHAT IS THIS??? When will this nonsense end?
We are so desperately sick of the snow around these parts.... I guess it is time to take a plane somewhere warm...
Florida friends- get your guest rooms ready! =)
On a funny note:
Zack asked if he could go out and ride his bike this morning and Josh said,
"No you will freeze your cotton tail off."

Oh happy day!

After FIVE years SEVEN months and TWENTY-FIVE days of at least one kid (usually two) in diapers- Bradley is POTTY TRAINED!! He even woke up dry this morning- (which is not unusual for my boys, the other two potty trained day/night at the same time). Upon waking this morning, he sat straight up and said "need to pee!!"
Ahhhh... the sweet relief of not having to change diapers! Now we just need to get through the "accident phase" which he has had none of today- even made it through nursery at church!

Time at the cabin

We spent last weekend at my parent's cabin near Yellowstone Park. The boys had so much fun!
Tom and Kricket came up with Miss Annie- who is oh-so entertaining for the boys.
There was SO much snow up there! Some friends of my parents brought their snow machines and everyone had fun getting rides. Josh and Zack even saw two wolves when they were on a ride with Grandpa. Overall, we had a great, relaxing weekend!

Easter pictures

Easter was cold this year. We still had tons of snow and we wondered what they would do for the Easter egg hunt. Josh heard a commercial on the radio that talked about wearing his running shoes to the hunt, so he was excited. When the morning finally arrived, we got dressed up and headed out to the high school. We met Carrie Goodman and her kids Kyler and Kalaya. Those are the other kids in the pictures...
As we got there, we saw people lined up with bags of candy handing out a handful to each child in their baskets. Josh cried and cried, he was so disappointed!
So, here are the pictures of our Easter trick-or-treating. SO disappointing!

Honey-do-day

This is one of the reasons why I love my husband so much! He is so good to take on the crappiest of jobs- literally. Our toilet quit working and- when asking the boys-
can he fix it?? The responded- YES HE CAN! The hat gave us all a bit of comic relief- but overall it was a pretty miserable experience for everyone. After a long day of listening to Ryan working in the bathroom- we know if he ever decides he doesn't want to be a pilot, he can always be a SAILOR!

WACKY Wednesday!

So Josh had crazy things to wear everyday to school last week, but wacky Wednesday had to be my favorite. I still can NOT believe he actually went out of the house like this considering he is such a perfectionist (like his daddy), but he did- and it was hilarious!!
